My name is Angella
Jennings and I have a strong passion for
animals, both great and small. From
a very young age I have always known I
wanted to work with animals, so at the age of 15
I began my journey into grooming; first by
volunteering at a Vet clinic and then at
a grooming shop. From working at this particular
shop I knew that I found my calling and that I
wanted to become a professional dog groomer.
My
Mobile Grooming career started 10 years ago when
after working in a few different grooming shop's, I
became aware of the reality of just how stressful
these grooming shops can be to your loving
companion. I feel that dogs and their
owners deserve better than this.

-
Faster -
your dog will be groomed within a relatively
short period of time (usually within an
hour).
-
Happier - your beloved companion
gets to stay in it's own safe, comfortable
environment (no separation anxiety!) instead of being locked in a
cage to wait it's turn. Also, there are no
unfamiliar dogs around which may intimidate
or upset your dog.
-
Safer -
You no longer need to worry about
transporting your dog to and from the
grooming shop (freeing up valuable time for
you!) plus there is no worry of interaction
with unfamiliar dogs which may be vicious or
carrying diseases.

Since I charge by the hour most of my clients choose to
bath their babies themselves. I prefer to keep the
grooming time to a minimum so that the dog will not need
to be unnecessarily stressed. I believe the quicker, the
calmer, the better.
All of
my clients have grown into more than just clients, they
are friends welcoming me into their homes and into
their family. I have a much closer relationship with the
animals in their own comfortable surroundings, than what
I had working with them in the shops. Especially if I am
working with older, very young or handicapped dogs; some
just need that extra special time and attention that
cannot be attained in a fast paced, high stressed
environment. |

I also
feel that it is important for my clients to have the
opportunity to watch what the grooming procedure is all
about. Often they will learn what brush they should be
using or how to brush the dog differently and/or
more frequently, depending upon how much hair they are
wanting to keep. This groomer/client relationship usually
helps an owner develop a whole new respect
for the grooming process as most people are unaware that knots develop into mats
and tighten closer to the skin from simply getting
wet. While
I am grooming your precious pup I also
offer tips such as brushing your dog before
and after
bathing or putting a jacket on them if it is raining to help to keep your loved one cleaner,
and dryer which will result in fewer knots in their
hair. Less
knots makes for a quicker more relaxing grooming
experience. |

As you can see I am all about the welfare of the animal.
Animal's feelings should always be taken into
consideration in ALL aspects of their life & should
always come first!! My philosophy of grooming shops are
built around my own experiences and do not suggest
that all shops are the same. I know that there are
several groomers that share the same passion and love
for animals that I have expressed.
If you have any questions, comments or concerns please
send me an email.
I value my visitor's and client's opinions and would love to hear from you!!
Sincerely,
